The utilization of the Crenex.com website (utilization to include the usage or purchase of any goods, subscriptions or services for fee or without, offered by us or any entity we are in agreement with, surfing, browsing, reading and posting of any information, acceptance of recommendations, instructions or advice) is subject to your agreement of the Terms of Usage. The website is intended for persons at least 18 years of age and enrolled at an academic institution or involved professionally in the real estate industry. If you are not at least 18 years of age, please do not sign up. If you do not agree to the Terms of Usage, do not utilize this website or its content it for any function whatsoever. Please understand that by checking the "I agree" box you are confirming that you are agreeing to and are bound by the policies and terms contained in the Terms of Usage.
Liability & Indemnity Agreement
In no event shall Crenex.com, its staff members, owner/s, affiliates, licensors, developers, contractors and or subcontractors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages that may result from your use of, inability to use, limited use or misuse of the Crenex.com website or any products or services offered by us or any other parties/entities we partner, contract or are in agreement with. Please understand that in additio to original content and services, we may partner with other companies and organizations to bring you 'free' or 'for fee' products and services. By checking "I agree" you agree to use these products and or services at your own risk and release Crenex.com and any vendor providing the product or service from any and all liability. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Crenex.com, its staff members, owner/s, affiliates, licensors, developers, contractors and or subcontractors from all liabilities, claims, and expenses, including attorneys' fees that may arise from your use of, inability to use, limited use or misuse of our website and or products or services, be they free or for fee. Crenex.com reserves the right, at it own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you agree to assist and cooperate with us in asserting any defense/s.

Reproduction in any format of website content for resale is stricly prohibited. Paid subscribers are welcome to use content to assist them in the normal course of business but remain restricted from reselling information downloaded from our website unless authorized by the owner/s or staff member via explicit written permission. Although we are under no obligation to monitor, track or record any member's utilization of our website, we do reserve the right to do so at any time. Although users are allowed to edit authored content for certain features, once any content is posted it falls under the Crenex.com domain and we reserve the right to remove, edit, modify or expand upon it at our discretion.
Account Registration & Security
To crete and maintain an account on the Crenex.com website you must complete the registration process which includes providing accurate contact info such as email, school attending, city and state etc and agreeing to the Terms of Usage which you are reading right now. Registration may require you submit a username and password, which you will use to fully utilize the website. Although you may change passwords for your account at any time for security or personal reasons, we currently deny the ability to modify usernames. Once established, you have the right to abandon your account or request its cancellation at any time for any reason. For 'Paid Membership' and 'Paid' products or services, cancelation of your accunt will not result in a refund. Refunds will be made at our sole discretion. Please be advised that if you do establish an account, it is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your password and you agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Paid Memebrships are made available on a single seat licence and intedned for use by multiple persons. We reserve the right to revoke, cancel, delete or temporarily suspend any account and or usage privileges of any member for any reason. As a courtesy, at our discretion we may or may not give advance notice to any member/s prior to implementing any changes that affect their account status. An account is intended for use by a single person. Do not under any circumstance let anyone other than youself use your account. If multiple accesses (multiple people using the same account as determined by IP Logs) are detected for an account, that account will be deleted automatically with or without advance notice.
Member Rules of Conduct
Establishing a Crenex.com acount constitutes your agreement to the Terms of Usage including your agreement to abide by the Member Rules of Conduct. Utilization of the site and any activities on the website or related to thereof which violate State or Federal law may be subject to civil and or criminal charges action against the perpetrator by the relevant authorities or agencies. When and where applicable we intend to make a good faith effort to monitor and report any illegal activities observed in the utilization of our our website and comply as required by the law. The following activities are just some examples of what constitute unlawful usage of our website: Buying, selling, trading or sharing of any materials classified as illegal such as controlled substances, pirated software, pirated music, pirated movies etc. This website is not intended for any illegal activities including but not limited to copyright infringement. If you need a clarification of any of the policies state, do not check "I agree," instead email us more info.
(a) Interacion with other members - Keep your communications polite and courteous. Harassing, threatening or belligerent behavior online is unacceptable. Please be advised that threatening someone is a crime and if a complaint is filed against you, you may be subject to legal action. If someone expresses their wish not to communicate with you, do not try to contact them, since that would constitute harassment. When interacting and or posting information that will be publicly displayed (i.e. information on your Friends Network profile page etc) do not under any circumstances reveal any personally identifiable information such as residing address or telephone number for security and privacy purposes.
(b) Language - We interpret the 1st amendment to not censor language. Feel free to express yourself however you wish, but be advised that there is a fine line between expressing yourself and being perceived as harassing and threatening someone. Keep swearing and the use of 'charged' phrases limited to personal expressions and do not direct them towards anyone in a bias manner. Do so and we may cancel your account and permanently ban you from our website.
(c) Information Confidentiality - Understand that you will be dealing with other persons online and that certain information revealed to you may be considered confidential in various aspects. You agree not to collect, help collect or inform any entity of any Crenex.com member's information that may be revealed to you. If Information such as email addresses, telephone numbers, member/site statistics, which include but are not limited to member preferences, usage, visitation and transaction statistics and protocols are revealed to you, you agree to maintain the confidentiality of this information. You also agree to not participate in, help or contribute in any way to any hacking or theft of information attempts directed at our website, servers/s, or ISP and to alert and inform us of any attempt to the best of your ability. In addition, please be aware that your collegues or peers may also be online as members; do not reveal confidential company or client information. Its unethical and may even be illegal.
(d) SPAM - We define SPAM as sending unwanted email or private messages to individual memebrs or groups. Please note that we intend to comply with laws regarding spam and will not only report any spammer to regulatory authorities including Internet Service Providers, but will fine either the spammer, the entity being promoted, or both at our discretion a sum of money which will be determined by multiplying the number of members spammed by $200 USD, payable to us within 30 days of notification. For example, if 1,000 of our members are spammed our legal counsel will send the spammer or entity being promoted an invoice in the amount of $200,000 USD (1000 x $200 USD) with instructions to remit payment within 30 days or face legal action. No one likes spam. We especially hate it. You agree NOT to SPAM, help someone else SPAM or provide any information to help a SPAMMER SPAM Crenex.com members. We may monitor account usage and do actively investigate SPAM complaints. If it is detected that you are spamming members or helping anyone do so or if a complaint is lodged against your username, we will terminate your account, permanently ban you from the site, report you to your ISP, and fine you. Bottom line with regard to spam; just don't do it.
(e) Disrputing Website Functionality - You agree not to disrupt or help any entity disrupt website functionality, attempt to/inflict damage or harm upon our website or members in any way. Childish behavior such as, causing a forum to scroll, posting hate messages, filing false complaints etc will not be tolerated. Forum administrators are given full authority to delete strings and ban members.
Advertising, Sponsorship, Contests & Prize Distribution
We generally do not allow advertising on our website and have limited participations in sponsorship programs. However, when and if any advertising or sponsorship is communicated thru us, your dealings with any advertisers, vendors or sponsors will solely be between you and the purveyor. We will not be responsible or liable in any way as a result of those dealings. We may at times hold contests with possible prizes. Relevant information will be provided with each contest and all Crenex.com decisions are final.
Modification of Terms of Usage
Crenex Inc. may revise these terms of use for its web site at any time without notice. By using this web site you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.
Governing Law
Any claim relating to Crenex Inc.'s web site shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Privacy Policy
We do not sell, lease or rent any member info to any commercial entity; The exception being the necessity to share account info as per information technology and product/service delivery purposes. In the course of utilizing the Crenex Community (our social network) website you will receive standard communication from other members. You have the option of adjusting your privacy settings to control who contacts you and what information about you is dispalyed with our social community.
Information that is gathered from visitors; In common with other websites, log files are stored on the web server saving details such as the visitor's IP address, browser type, referring page and time of visit. Cookies may be used to remember visitor preferences when interacting with the website. Where registration is required, the visitor's email and all information entered online including user name and personal information will be stored on the server.
How the Information is used; The information is used to enhance the vistor's experience when using the website to network with other professionals, display personalised content and possibly advertising. E-mail addresses will not be sold, rented or leased to 3rd parties. E-mails may be sent to inform you of news of our services or offers by us or our affiliates, industry news and updates, event alerts and system updates.
