Description

Giroux Glass Incorporated, an employee-owned glass, glazing and architectural metals contracting company operates branches in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Las Vegas and Fresno. The company caters to the glazing needs of the commercial, retail, and design residential sectors.

The company’s status as one of the nation’s top 10 glazing contractors is a testament as to how far it has come from its humble beginnings. Founded in 1946, the company originally operated as a family owned business and catered to the glass needs of the Los Angeles area.

In 1991, the company, along with its 10 employees, was purchased by its current owner and Chief Executive Officer, Anne-Merelie Murrell. Within the first 10 years of the purchase, the company increased its sales by over 300 percent. Giroux Glass continues to maintain itself as a well respected leader in the contract glazing industry and has completed countless notable projects including the Cain Library Addition at The California State University campus in Dominguez Hills, California, the Los Angeles Unified Central Learning Center, the Skywalk at the Grand Canyon and CityCenter in Las Vegas.

Giroux Glass has always made it a priority to stay abreast of the latest technologies and practices in its field. It is the belief that by doing so, the ultimate benefactor of cutting edge technology and evolving practices is the client. As the company evolved, so did its operational philosophy. In 2007, Giroux Glass became employee owned, allowing the employees the opportunity to purchase shares and ultimately become vested in the success and growth of the company.
